Lydia Alborn - Editor

Lydia joined Springer Nature in 2017 as an Editorial Administrator for Adis journals and has worked across the portfolio in her time. She now serves as Managing Editor for the oncology content in Oncology and Therapy and Advances in Therapy. She works closely with the Adis team to ensure rapid publication timelines, scientific integrity, and personalised service.

A strong advocate for reducing health inequalities, Lydia promotes equitable reporting of sex, gender, race, and ethnicity in research. She also champions innovation in scholarly communication, contributing to the development of novel article types and sharing insights at publishing conferences and beyond.

Michael Mason - Associate Editor

Michael joined Springer Nature in 2023 as an Editorial Administrator for the Adis journals where he co-ordinated peer review, tracked manuscripts and handled author inquiries. He now serves as an Associate Editor working closely with the business development team to oversee the pre-submission enquiry service and work on business development strategy across the portfolio.

Clare Cook - Adis Editorial Manager

Clare joined Springer Nature in 2009 and has worked in various capacities on the Adis journals - based out of our Chester UK office - launching new journals, commissioning content, and developing novel article types and digital enhancements.

She currently manages the 11 journals in the Rapid+ side of the Adis portfolio, overseeing the editorial processes and journal team, working closely with the business development team and with industry contacts, attending and speaking at publishing conferences, and working on strategy and innovations across the journal portfolio.
